GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY FOR THE NEW NASINU COURT HOUSE

Acting Prime Minister and Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum this morning officiated at the ground breaking ceremony for the new court house at the Nasinu Magistrates’ Court.

Nasinu is the largest municipality and a major corridor in the Nausori-Lami section of Fiji and the construction of the new court would give a ‘sense of township’ to Nasinu, the Acting Prime Minister said.

“The judiciary is much larger than what it was and we need to be able to provide a conducive environment for judges and magistrates and the staff to do their work well.”
