Construction of new Nadi Police Station

CONSTRUCTION work on the new Nadi Police Station officially began today following a groundbreaking ceremony officiated by Defence Minister Inia Seruiratu.

While addressing senior officers from the Western Division, Mr Seruiratu said it was important that officers maintained their level of quality services to the people of Fiji.

He said while some Fijians had had a bad experience with Police officers, improving services and changing the mindset of citizens would enable a better partnership between the public and the Police force.
